Moto
Liberty started in the motorcycle business
many years ago, and was well
known for their Honda backed racing team. When the Honda contract ended, Audrey
Menarik who worked for the previous owner took the name and moved into a small
retail location in 1999. Since then, she has expanded the store. Although still
a small store at slightly under 3,000 square feet, it is packed to the ceiling
with motorcycle gear. Moto Liberty is one of the few stores in the country that
specializes strictly in motorcycle gear. Without being bothered by service or
bike sales, tire or battery sales, all energy is devoted into seeking out the
very best gear in each category and providing
great customer service by a sales staff
that really knows their gear. Moto Liberty only carries two high end lines and
Vanson is one of them.

selling Vanson at the retail level since 1994.
You can count on Vanson to put out a quality
piece each and every time. It's not like other
lines where you have to go through the line and
weed out the losers. Vanson doesn't make bad
garments. They use only the best in materials
and have quality workmanship that you just don't
find in imports. When our customers spend $500
on a jacket, its nice to know it's not going
to be out of style in a few years. One of my
favorite things to tell a customer when they
decide to purchase a Vanson jacket is, "I
hope you like it a lot, because it's going to
last you a long, long time. I hope your grandkids
will enjoy it as much as you will". God
bless Vanson for being one of the last hold-outs
for Made in the USA!" |

Liberty has been voted the #1 Motorcycle
Gear & Accessories
store in Texas three years in a row by Ride
Texas magazine readers. Moto Liberty is known
for their creative & fun events. Moto
Liberty will celebrate everything from Ground
Hog’s
day to their annual crawfish boil. The biggest
event is the Midnight Madness sale in November. “We
feel bad for people that don’t live
near the Dallas/Fort Worth area. They miss
out on many of our
fun events, so in order to compensate, I
bought a bus”, says Audrey. “If
Texans can’t come to the store, I decided
the bring the store to them”.
Moto
Liberty arranges travel to events within
Texas which they refer to as "Magic Bus Tours".
One of their big events is the ROT Rally
in Austin, but they also do smaller
local
charity
events.
Never
ending promotions keep the interest of their
customers. Their philosophy is, "They have
to work, so they might as well have fun
doing it."
