Vanson
Leather's dealer of the month for November
2006 is Scuderia West in San Francisco.
Scuderia
has been a Vanson dealer since 1998 and carries
the largest inventory of Vanson in the greater
Bay Area.
Owner
Don Lemelin started Scuderia West in 1991
as a tiny,solely independent parts and
apparel store. When Crystal Gurr came on board
in 1993, she began focusing on unique and high-quality
items that were hard to find in San Francisco's
motorcycle stores. Crystal remembers: "We
coveted the exclusive relationship that was
held by another dealership with Vanson Leathers
and wished there was a way we could to be able
to sell what was clearly such a quality product
too."

| Scuderia
actively pursued a relationship with Vanson and
in 1998 when Scuderia moved to a new larger 8000
sq/ft location where there was enough room to
grow they brought Vanson Leathers to their new
location. The new shop allowed them to expand
not only the parts and apparel selections, but
to also have room become an Aprilia, KTM, Victory,
Bimota and Kymco dealer. Still sought out for the excellent service
that was the core of their original success
there are 6 lifts in their service facility
that is filled with natural light, and excellant
techs. Between the sales, parts, apparel, and
the service departments, Scuderia has 20 employees
eager to assist you.
The apparel specialist Amy Perezdiez, has been
with Scuderia for more than 4 years, and brings
with her a background in garment design. Amy really
knows her stuff, and is a stickler for details.
If you need custom measuring, Amy is the person
to see. She knows all of the custom options offered
by Vanson. Michelle Williams is another full-time
member of the apparel staff, and she also has a
background in garment design. There is always at
least one full-time apparel-dedicated staff to
help customers with fitting of all the apparel
items.Vanson is a favorite among current and past
employees of Scuderia, and you will see many of
them wearing Vanson jackets, pants, and leathers.
Crystal,
Amy and Michelle say: "Vanson
leathers are so unique in so many ways. The
leather used for many of the designs is a leather
that is tanned only for Vanson, and to their
specifications, and you will not find this
type of leather in any other product. You will
have a Vanson garment for a lifetime. There
are so many designs to choose from, and if
that's not enough, you can custom design a
Vanson garment to your own specifications.
You can change the leather color, sleeve length,
thread color, put a star on the back, whatever,
the sky's the limit!

Crystal
invites you: "Come to San Francisco,
you will see one of the biggest motorcycle
markets in the country. Here people are riding
the beautiful roads all year round. You will
also see so many Vanson jackets on all kinds
of riders. It's obvious Vanson is the choice
for many of San Francisco's motorcyclists."

will be attending Scuderia West's Annual Fall
Open House on Saturday November 11, 2006 from
10-6. Vanson will have on hand for special
ordering 2 reps and for repairs an expert stitcher.
Repairs are free of charge for what we are
able to do on site: time and materials permitting.
We are not able to perform on the site alterations.
We are able to assess and recommend other additional
work performed at Vanson |

in Fall River,
Massachusetts. If you want to get a jump start
on the process
and avoid the crowds, the Vanson
reps and stitcher will be set up and working
all day on Friday the 10th of November too! |
