Bob's BMW, our first Dealer of the Month
for 2005, is the largest BMW Motorcycle
dealer in the Mid-Atlantic and the 4th
largest in the entire US. Located in Jessup
, MD, just off I-95 between Baltimore
and Washington, DC, Bob's has been servicing
customers all over the country and all
over the world through their Mail order
business, catalog and web site. |

Bob's
BMW has been in business since 1981 and
has been a Vanson dealer since 1992. Bob's
is a ride destination and stop for fresh
coffee, a clean bathroom, a visit to the
on-site museum, some friendly tire kicking
or just some t-shirt buying on the way
to or from Daytona Bike Week.
Debbie Fitch, the Vanson Manager in the
Parts and Accessories department Has been
riding motorcycles since 1992 and wearing
Vanson almost as long. She handles all
the Vanson ordering and sales, including
custom fittings, and is the focus of enthusiasm
for Vanson Leathers in the shop. Other
Vanson fans can be found in the service
department: |
Josh Neff, Don Mcintosh and Bud Provin
all have custom Vanson garments. Parts
manager Bucky Sexton races vintage BMWs
and Yamahas and owns three custom Vanson
race suits. Also, Colleen Bay in the
parts department and Lex O'Brian in
Advertising own multiple pieces.

Owner Bob Henig himself sports a custom
C3H2 Hurricane jacket in Solar leather
in addition to an original Breeze (grey)
that was heavily modified to his specifications;
both get plenty of use during the warmer
months.
Another notable reason to designate
Bob's BMW as Dealer of the month for
January 2005 is for all the work they've
done for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
Through their annual Bob's BMW Ride
for Kids they have raised over $133,000
since 1999. We at Vanson have been proud
to contribute items for Bob's to raffle
in support of this worthy cause.
