Our armor is designed to fit in our jackets, pants and suits between the lining and the leather to provide an additional layer of protection between you and the road. Access to the VELCROŽ brand closure fields that hold the armor in place in the jackets is through the zipper in the lining above the waistband in the small of the back. Access on the pants is through the unattached lining at the fly area. All jackets with this icon accept shoulder and elbow/forearm armor as well as spine protectors. The latest development in our Grand Prix Armor is the race-bred Floating Armor System (F.A.S., Patent Pending). This system features a moveable sandwich of materials including dual density foam and formed thermo-plastic shells. It is designed to absorb impact energy and disperse it over a wider area for maximum protection while allowing a wide range movement and comfort. Standard equipment in our professional roadrace suits, each piece of armor, larger and more effective than the previous generation GP armor, is attached via a sturdy elastic harness which Velcros to the garment and allows the outer shell to move independently of your body, increasing both safety for comfort.
