Polished solid-brass casting
(replacement part for any Vanson jacket with 2 inch belt)
When a replacement part for any Vanson 2 inch belt is needed we offer you a choice of three buckles. The hand-polished brass or nickel-plated brass versions would have been seen during the 1960s - think Summer of Love, Haight-Ashbury, Monterey Festival... maybe even Altamont... and on every college campus across the country. In the day they typically fastened heavy, bridle-leather belts; today, if the urge seized you, they could be put on something much more delicate, giving a piquant contrast between the solid brass and some exotic skin.
A military black version can also be supplied. This is not brass, as military requirements demand a non-reflective buckle lighter than can be made of brass.
