Simple. Practical. Protective. And good looking. Vanson Traveler Pants are made from tough competition-weight ProPerf leather for excellent air-flow ventilation on warm days. Designed to zip to our SportRider (Styles CSR2 COB2 CAV2 etc) series of jackets using our patented three-way connector system, these pants mimic Vanson two-piece racing-suit pants.
Attention to details is everywhere: even the crotch seam is sewn down on both sides to smooth out the contour and reduce bulk. The seat, rear waistband and the fronts and backs of the knees are ergonomically shaped to fill out when tucked into a riding position on the bike. Curved seams behind the knees and over the kneecap areas give a pre-bent shape to the legs. From the bottom of the front section of the adjustable waistband extend two open-top Cordura-lined hand pockets. Using 1000 denier Cordura as a front body 
section from the waistband to the bottom of the front pockets removes a lot of bulk when the rider is tucked on the bike. These design refinements, combined with the expander panels above the knees, allow for comfortable, unrestrained movement when riding.
Safety is enhanced by double-leather reinforcement at the knees with the exclusive Vanson F.A.S. (Floating Armor System US Patent 6070274), CE Knee Armor, rear-calf leg zips and tapered legs to tuck inside your riding boots. At the rear is a deep wallet-pocket with a snap-close for security. Over the waistband are 2 ½" wide leather belt-loops. A tack-button-close waistband and long-lasting molded nylon ankle zippers.
