Another serially beautiful day in Cannes, Cancun or Cape Cod. You got to the Beach, bring your tote, what about your wallet? Car keys? Money? Passport? How can you relax and go in the water leaving your valuables... even for a minute? Well it is easy to contemplate if you are lucky enough to have a Vanson Tote Bag equipped with a secret "Basement Pocket"...

Standard equipment includes a large hidden "Basement Pocket" built into the bottom panel along the entire length of the bag. This pocket is camouflaged behind a full length velcro opening set into a water-resistant wax cotton floor making the pocket invisible to the casual observer. With a few things in the bag , on top of the "Basement Pocket" opening, your precious are hidden away from prying eyes and itchy fingers. Think of it as a Money-Belt Bag.

Using a texturally interesting mix of six different materials we get a relatively lightweight and easy to carry bag that will handle a long weekend worth of supplies. The bottom of the bag is one large piece of mediaum weight leather – to resist wear and tear and provide the foundation for the "Basement" pocket.

The outer shell is built of Natural cotton that has been treated to resist water and soiling. Built into the front panel is a zippered pocket with an anti-wear top lip made of leather.

Along the inside back panel is a two compartment mesh pocket with a leather bead across the top. The Vanson Unit Number is embossed into a leather patch top stitched to the mesh pocket.

At each bag-end a D-ring tab is sewn and riveted with a solid brass D-ring for an optional over-the-shoulder carrying strap. Swivel-clips are attached to the inside end of each D-ring tab – no more "fishing for keys" with this design. There are 3 different styles of optional shoulder straps available, and each strap style is available in two lengths.

Twin Heavy-Duty Natural Cotton straps positioned for balanced carrying support make a stroll around with a good load in this bag an easy and comfortable experience.

Two 10in. handles- measured from the top of the bag to top of the bag along
handle length. Handles are 2 inch webbing stitched to the front and back
of the bag. Bottom of the bag is reinforced with leather. Front pocket
is set between the handle webbing and is 5 inches wide and 8 inches deep.
Inside there is a large mesh pocket. The inside bottom of the bag has a
secret basement stash pocket with hidden velcro closure.

Natural 24 oz. 100% cotton #4 Duck. This heavy fabric is
treated with a stain resistance spray to make minor spots
easy to clean. Matched color heavy 100% cotton webbing
is used for handles. Competiton weight black leather is
used for trim. Firenze black medium weight is used for
the bottom of the bag. A950 dark-oak waxed cotton is used
on inner bottom of the bag.
