When Jay Springsteen was racing for Bartel's Harley -Davidson, VANSON was building the Bartel racing suits. “Springer” , with the experience of winning 43 Grand National Championships over an almost 30 year career, provided excellent feedback on the development of Vanson suits.
The Speedway Classic is the top part of the two-piece Racing Suit as created by Vanson for Bartel's Racing.
Along the way the Speedway Jacket has become an American Original with a non-conformist thrust. Every Race Team develops a signature color and logo, true to this Race Team custom several different limited editions have been produced. The “Genesis N.Y.C.” version is perhaps the most well known.
